Features of HVAC High-Temperature Filters
I. Efficiency of HVAC High-Temperature and High-Efficiency Filters
The practical filtering efficiency of high-temperature, high-efficiency filters at 250°C ranges between H12 and H13. This is due to the physical properties of the adhesive used: the 250°C red high-temperature silica gel and the white high-temperature inorganic glue, which operates at 350-400°C, both have poor fluidity. Consequently, the actual filtration efficiency of H13 high-temperature, high-efficiency filters at 350-400°C is between H11 and H12.
II. Precautions Before Using High-Temperature and High-Efficiency Filters
The organic silica gel and inorganic glue used in high-temperature-resistant high-efficiency filters cure from the surface inward. The thicker the glue injection, the more difficult it is to cure. Under normal conditions, the curing time of the glue is 3-7 days. If an uncured high-temperature, high-efficiency filter is directly installed in a high-temperature device for normal use, it will likely cause the high-temperature glue to crack, expand, and separate from the outer frame.
To address these issues, the following two approaches are recommended:
- Standard Usage: The high-temperature, high-efficiency filter should be used after a curing period of 7 days.
- Immediate Installation: If immediate installation is necessary, it is recommended that customers follow the steps below before using our high-temperature-resistant high-efficiency filter:
Step 1: Slowly heat the filter to 100°C in the high-temperature equipment, and then allow it to cool after maintaining a constant temperature for 2 hours.
Step 2: Heat the filter to 150°C for 1 hour, then stop heating and allow it to cool.
Step 3: Heat the filter to 200°C for 1 hour, then stop heating and allow it to cool.
Step 4: Heat the filter to 250°C for 1 hour, then stop heating and allow it to cool.
Final Step: The product can be used normally after it has cooled slowly.
